Our client, SkyStorm Production, have officialy launched their fabulous new website. SkyStorm is a media production company from Florida who have come to us looking for a way to present their work online. SkyStorm's main focus is production of videos (you can read about the rest of their services on their new site) which are of very high quality. In fact, clips that you can see in SkyStorm's video engine can be compared only to viewing material on high definition TV sets.

How did we do it, you wonder? Video clips from the Internet are usually of abysmal quality, and even those that sport a fairly high standard tend to appear inconsistent for the viewers. That is, it all depended on the viewer's setup. Our task became providing SkyStorm with a video player that will display their best work at all times, without any kinks, and essentially independently of how each visitor is accessing the site. 

This was achieved using Flash Media Server, a solution born from the Adobe family to enable streaming high quality videos and real-time communications. The video player analyzes the viewer's bandwidth and streams the media at the speed most apropriate for best user experience. By our standards, that includes remarkably smooth playback, virtually no time wasted on waiting for the video to load, and H.264 HD clips.
